The Sema Show is always that one show that every year will leave us breathless with the shire quality and creativeness of projects that people build each year. Not only that, but there are very few projects that return from the previous year, so you are always guaranteed new builds to see every time.
We used an App this year to count how many miles we walked over the period of four days being at the show and to give you all an idea of the size of this show, we covered 27 miles! That’s just crazy when you think about, but with so much variety and numerous halls, this is how space is covered with car products and projects.
We even bumped into our good friend Magnus Walker, who once again came with one of is superb custom built Porsches and signed a few awesome posters. See our special magazine issue on Magnus right here.
As we walked around the huge halls, picking out our best of shows was truly difficult as the quality of all the builds are so high, but we managed to find our favourites and here they are,
Jesse James 1964 Polara
This super unique Polara was built by The Roadster Shop and has twin turbos.
Short Rodeo drift AE86 Hauler
Definitely one of the most insane builds of the show and one heck of show stopper.
Albert Lowrider Impala
Our friend Albert from Cal Blast unveiled this flawless lowrider impala. Full feature coming soon.
Built way back in 2012, this Corvair came all the way from France to be at the show.
Ford Model A Tudor Sedan
Now this was a trip back in time, with that classic 60’s style paint and immense attention to detail. Full feature coming soon.
Mclaren P1 Liberty Walk
Hauk Designs Camaro Off Road
Our good friends at Hauk Designs came along with this epic Camaro offroader!
1967 Fastback Ford Mustang
One super cool build that was on the ebay Motors stand.
Slammed Ford Super Duty pickup
Super clean and slammed, a perfect combination for the Super Duty.
Ball Metal Fabrications slammed Chevy truck
One of the best custom builds of the show in our eyes.
Ringbrothers 1035bhp AMC Javlen Defiant
Truly incredible build by the Ringbrothers Mike and Jim, with immense horsepower and a car that is so unusual, it’s so freakin cool.
Willy’s retro BMW with a turbo charged engine swap
Another amazing transformation from a car that was rusty beyond repair, to this masterpiece.
Slang 500 Porsches
Two of the most cleanest and detailed Porsches at the show and the touch of steampunkt makes them even more stand out.
Colin’s Dragster MK1 VW Golf
One mouth-dropping build as from a distance you think it is just a clean and restored MK1 VW Golf, but get up close and you will see something more sinister going on.
1939 Plymouth pickup with 7 cylinder Radial Cessena engine
A salt flat racer and one that carries an airplane and engine with interior!
