Chillin’ in downtown Whittier for the Friday night cruise
When visiting the West Coast, you have to experience the night cruises which take place in every town and as we were hanging out in the Whittier area, we decided to see what the local cruise offered.
Our good friends Juan and Maria mentioned that each Friday night from 3pm-9pm, the local hot rodders gather on the car park of Ruby’s American Diner, to talk cars and eat some quality burger and fries. So we ventured over at around 6pm to see the turnout and we are glad we came out.
There were a variety of classics from lowrider bombs, american muscle, custom pickup trucks to custom hot rods with around 60 cars in total. A really nice turnout for a local weekly cruise. We even had the opportunity to speak to some of the local guys and organise a few photo shoots for you, coming in a future issue of the magazine.
The above Chevy custom is owned by a cool guy names Bob and we will bring you the full story and more photographs very soon.
Some of the classics that stood out for us, were these beautiful bombs which we shall be covering very soon. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the cool customs that were on show that night.
If you have a local cruise in the Los Angeles area that you would like us to attend, leave a comment below.
