We take a trip down to the London Motor Museum and show you some cool rides
Just on the outskirts of London in the UK, is a museum with a difference. Not a museum that houses your usual classic cars or treasures from around the world, but one that has the most electic car collection in Europe. The owner Elo has been a good friend of ours for some time and so we like to pop over when we get the chance, to see what cool rides he has recently acquired.
As you walk into the museum, you first have to come inside to the main entrance and coffee bar area, where you can chill, grab a coffee, buy some cool merchandise and read up on some old school car magazines.
Elo had a dream over 15 years ago to one day own a car museum, which he could then have inside all the cars he ever wanted. He grafted hard and finally made it happen and what you see here, is just a fraction of the collection that he has.
This is the main entrance to the museum inside and every so often, Elo will create a different display to keep things fresh.
Elo always finds some insane custom vehicles from around the world, like this Extra Terrestrial Vehicle from the USA.
Walk around and you will see different types of display’s such as the Lowrider one, where you can capture photographs of some lowriders used in the Black Eyed peas music videos.
Mixed within all the custom and classic cars, you can find some vintage motorcycles, scooters and even custom choppers.
From classic Mercedes and Rolls Royce’s, Elo has an amazing collection.
It’s not just cars that you will find inside as this classic Tractor displays. You will even find a Porsche tractro if you look closer.
The art of custom as you will find when you walk around, from custom classic Chevy’s to a Jukebox on wheels.
Once you’ve taken in some of the classics, you can venture into the super car corner, where you will find a mixture of luxury, sports, super and classic cars.
If it’s custom hot rods you’re looking for, then Elo definitely has a very interesting selection.
From led sled’s, Chevy’s, Volksrod and much more, there definitely is enough for you to capture with your camera.
When Elo has time, he will indulge in customising his own rides, so that he can take them to car shows.
The London Motor Museum has its own car customisation garage and when we came that day, we saw this incredible Impala lowrider, that was in for some extra work.
One question is that we normally get asked, ‘Is how does Elo find all these different cars’? Well, Elo knows alot about the car game and how to acquire different styles and types. Some are more for display, some for driving and some to collect.
The last special car that we came across, was this stunning white Lamborghini countach, which is one of Elo’s prize possessions. We actually created a video which also had us filming at the London Motor Museum. Check it out below,
So next time you are visiting London, why not pop in and capture some historical custom autos to share with your friends.
